By accessing or using Best Before (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Best Before is a marketplace platform that enables retailers to list near-expiry products at discounted prices and allows shoppers to discover and purchase those products before they expire.

3. Retailer Responsibilities

Retailers are responsible for the accuracy of product listings, including expiry dates, quantities, prices, and product descriptions. Retailers must comply with all applicable food safety and consumer protection laws.

4. Shopper Responsibilities

Shoppers are responsible for reviewing product details, including expiry dates, before making a purchase. Best Before facilitates discovery but does not guarantee product availability or condition.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Retailers may subscribe to a paid plan to access additional features. Subscription fees are billed through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Refunds are subject to our refund policy.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Service to list illegal, counterfeit, or already-expired products. You may not scrape, abuse, or disrupt the Service. Violations may result in account suspension.

7. Limitation of Liability

Best Before is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to product quality, transactions between parties, or data loss.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
